When Mini and Jung asked for Documentary wedding coverage at Denver’s Hotel Magnolia, I knew we were on the same page. While I hadn’t done Hotel Magnolia Denver wedding, the patterns, lighting and flow of ballroom weddings were quite familiar, as such approaches were much more common in Washington DC, where I used to live, than the more outdoors-oriented approaches common in Colorado. The two gave me license to document things in a natural way, and aside from some group photos they gave me free rein to interpret things as I saw them.
